Nadiha Prayas celebrated Independence Day on 15 August 2018 at Purulia with members, volunteers, guests, children, speeches, and sweet distribution.
Nadiha Prayas proudly celebrated India’s Independence Day on 15th August 2018 at our office near Dulmi Durga Mandir, Purulia. The program was organized with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit, marking another meaningful chapter in our journey of social service.
The event was attended by our respected office bearers — President Pranab Rakshit, Secretary Tarun Banerjee, and Treasurer Sital Paramanik — along with all members and volunteers of Nadiha Prayas. Their presence and active participation reflected the unity and commitment of the organization.
We were honored to have Krishna Pada Rakshit, Manager of Purulia Central Co-Operative Bank, as our Chief Guest. In his speech, he highlighted the importance of independence, social responsibility, and the role of organizations like Nadiha Prayas in nation-building.
Another distinguished guest, Dipankar Mahato, Guest Lecturer of Nistarini College, Purulia, inspired the audience by emphasizing education, discipline, and youth participation in shaping a stronger India.
A large number of children joined the celebration with excitement and joy. To make the day special for them, sweets were distributed, spreading happiness and a sense of togetherness.
Members, volunteers, and guests delivered speeches focusing on the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the values of unity and equality, and the responsibility of citizens toward society.
The program concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the ideals of freedom and to continue working selflessly for the welfare of children and communities.
The Independence Day Celebration 2018 stood as a reminder of our commitment to building an inclusive, educated, and empowered society through dedicated service.
