Nadiha Prayas celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2016 at Purulia with members, volunteers, guests, children, speeches, and sweet distribution.
Nadiha Prayas proudly celebrated India’s 70th Independence Day on 15th August 2016 at our office near Dulmi Durga Mandir, Purulia. The program was organized with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and community participation.
The celebration was graced by the presence of our respected office bearers — President Pranab Rakshit, Secretary Tarun Banerjee, and Treasurer Sital Paramanik — along with all members and volunteers of Nadiha Prayas, whose dedication made the event successful.
We were honored to welcome our Chief Guest, Krishna Pada Rakshit, Manager of Purulia Central Co-Operative Bank, who inspired everyone with his valuable words on nation-building and social responsibility. Another distinguished guest, Dipankar Mahato, Guest Lecturer of Nistarini College, Purulia, addressed the gathering and emphasized the role of youth and education in shaping the future of India.
A large number of children joined the celebration with joy and excitement. Sweets were distributed among them as a symbol of happiness, unity, and freedom. Members, volunteers, and guests delivered speeches highlighting the significance of Independence Day, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, and the importance of working together for an inclusive and progressive society.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge by everyone present to serve the nation with honesty, compassion, and commitment.
The Independence Day celebration of 2016 remains a memorable and inspiring moment in the journey of Nadiha Prayas.
